This is the plain-English version. cfgroove.com is run by CFGROOVE LLC, a Texas limited liability company based in Denton, Texas. "I," "me" and "CFGroove" mean CFGROOVE LLC. "You" means anyone using this website.
These terms cover this website only. If we work together on a project, your Statement of Work is the agreement that covers that work.
Using this site
By using cfgroove.com, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
You're welcome to read, share and link to anything here. Please don't copy the design, code, writing or images to use as your own, scrape the site, or try to break, overload or hack it.
What I collect
I keep this light on purpose.
When you contact me. The contact form asks for your name, email and message. That gets emailed to me so I can reply. I don't sell it, rent it or add you to a mailing list.
When you book a call. Booking happens through Cal.com. Whatever you enter there is handled by Cal.com under their privacy policy, and shared with me so I can show up prepared.
When you browse. I use Plausible Analytics to see things like which pages get visited and where visitors come from. Plausible doesn't use cookies, doesn't track you across other websites, and doesn't collect personal information. The numbers I see are totals, not you.
Cookies. This site doesn't use tracking or advertising cookies.
Who else touches your data
A few services help run this site:
- Resend delivers contact form emails to me
- Cal.com handles call booking
- Plausible counts visits, without cookies
- Cloudinary and Google Fonts serve images and fonts, which means your browser connects to them to load the page
That's the whole list. I don't sell data, and I don't share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long I keep it
I keep emails and booking details as long as they're useful for our conversation or our work together. Want me to delete what I have? Email me and I'll take care of it.
Your choices
You can ask what information I have about you, ask me to fix it, or ask me to delete it. Just email chase@cfgroove.com.
Content on this site
Blog posts and guides are general info, not professional advice for your specific situation. Prices, stats and results shown are real for the clients and time periods described, but every business is different. Your results will depend on your business, your market and a lot of things outside my control.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute about this website will be handled in the courts of Denton County, Texas.
Kids
This site is for businesses and adults. I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If I update these terms, I'll change the date at the top. Using the site after that means you're OK with the updated version.
